BA in Modern
Languages and Literature (Portuguese) at Universidade Nova
de Lisboa.
Completed several
additional courses in the biomedical area, statistics,
translation and computing.
Extensive
experience in medical fields and with governmental
agencies, multinational clients, publishers, physicians
and hospitals. Former medical transcriptionist.
To date I have
translated millions of words, especially medical journal
articles in subjects as diverse as dental medicine,
oncology and chemotherapy, homeopathy, geriatrics,
analgesia and anesthesia.
I have translated
theses, scientific papers and articles, operating manuals,
specifications, NGOs mediations, drug package inserts,
medical homepages, and other documents dealing with
